The Upper Peninsula Film Union, the non-profit organization responsible for the free drive-in events at the last drive in theater in the Upper Peninsula , has an exciting opportunity for individuals and businesses alike. We would like to formally introduce the U. P. Film Union Sponsor a Post Campaign!
As you might know, we have removed the old speaker posts at the drive in. They have long been unnecessary since an FM transmitter was installed many years ago (the speakers disappeared years ago too). We have replaced the old speaker posts with more functional PVC posts, which now serve as parking markers. We are making these posts available to advertise your business or honor someone while also supporting the drive in.
There are four different yearly donation levels available. Which level is right for you? It will depend on the amount of exposure you desire. The first row of posts is highly coveted by moviegoers and is therefore the Premium Sponsorship Level at $250 yearly. There are not many spots available in the first row and it is always the row that fills the fastest with the people who stay the longest. The second row is the Gold Sponsorship Level at $100, the next two rows are the Silver Sponsorship Level at $50, and the rows in the back field behind the concession building are the Bronze Sponsorship Level at $25. With a Premium Sponsorship (the $250 level), you are also able to add your organization’s logo on the sign with text.
All levels afford up to 3 lines of text with the name of your business/organization or an individual’s name if you choose. Do you have a hard time finding the perfect birthday gift for a friend or family member because it seems they have everything? You could consider sponsoring a post in honor of that special person! While this campaign is an excellent way to advertise for your business, it is also a great way to show someone you care!
