before you order
All Drive-In Fangrams message orders must be submitted no later than 11:59 pm 7 days before the event. Late messages will not be accepted.
Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to accept orders over the phone. All orders must be completed using the link below.
Messages that are obscene, offensive, or include foul language will not be accepted.
Messages cannot contain photos or emojis.
Messages cannot be used for commercial purposes. Social media handles, phone numbers, email addresses, and web URLs of any kind will not be accepted.
You will need to decide where you would like your message to be displayed for the event. The two possible locations are the big screen and/or the small screens within the concession stand. You will select your location(s) at checkout.
In the extremely rare case where an event is canceled or rescheduled due to inclement weather and it impacts your Drive-In Fangram message, please email [email protected] for further details.
Due to limited availability of Drive-In Fangrams per event all online orders will be processed in the order in which they are received. Messages are scheduled to run on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Messages can be up to 75 characters, including spaces and punctuation.
The cost of each message is a suggested donation of $5.00. Feel free to donate more if you'd like!
At the event
Before the messages are displayed on the drive-in screen, you will see an intro message for the Drive-In Fangrams.
Messages will appear for approximately 10 seconds each during the commercials before the first film and at any subsequent intermission.
Unless an event is postponed, cancelled, or rescheduled there are no refunds for Drive-In Fangrams. Please make sure that parties needing to see the message are in the field while the commercials run before the movie begins.
The Upper Peninsula Film Union reserves the right to approve, edit or cancel any message if necessary. Please contact [email protected] with any questions.
